7 Day Eastern Bhutan Tour

Upon your arrival at Guwahati International Airport, a representative from Somify Destination Tours will greet you. We will then drive to Bhutan in an Indian vehicle. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, although traffic conditions may cause this to vary by about 20 minutes.

At the town of Samdrupjongkhar, or the Indo-Bhutan gate, a Bhutanese car and driver, along with a guide, will be waiting for you. After meeting at the Bhutan gate, we will complete the necessary immigration formalities before driving to your hotel in Samdrup Jongkhar.

Once you check into the hotel, we will explore the nearby areas. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Trashigang. The drive will take around 7 hours.
Lunch at Wamrong, the small town, is exactly halfway to our destination.
On the way, if we are lucky you may spot endangered birds like Himalayan birds.
Evening, leisure and overnight stay at Trashigang.

Today will drive to Trashi Yangtse for a day excursion. The drive will take around 2 hours and 30 minutes for one way. On reaching Gomphu Kora, we will visit Gomkora Lhakhang, one of the secret places of Guru Rinpoche. Then, we will continue our journey and just before entering Trashi Yangtse small town, will visit Dzongchung, the oldest dzong in the Trashi Yangtse district.
After lunch, we will visit a Chorten Kora, the biggest stupa in Bhutan, and then we will explore around town for 30 minutes, and then drive back to Trashigang for a night halt.

Today, we will drive to Lhuentse. The drive will take around 5 hours.
On reaching Lhuentse, will visit Lhuentse Dzong and visit Khoma village, the famous place for weaving Kishuthara in Bhutan.
Overnight stay at Lhuentse.

After breakfast, visit to Takila Guru Statue, one of the biggest statues in Eastern Bhutan. The drive takes around 30 minutes from Autso junction.
Then we will drive back to Mongar and the lunch at Mongar town. 
After lunch, we will visit Mongar Dzong and leisure around town, one of the biggest towns in Eastern Bhutan.
Overnight stay at Mongar.

After having early breakfast, we will drive back to Samdrup Jongkhar. The drive will take around 8 hours and lunch on the way.
Over night stay at Samdrup Jongkhar.

After breakfast at the hotel today, you will drive to the Indo-Bhutan gate for immigration formalities. Once completed, you will continue to Guwahati, India, in an Indian car with a driver. We wish you a very safe and pleasant journey to your onward destinations.
